BernardMEAKINPassed away peacefully on 15th January at home aged 92. A big thank you to the end of life nurses and his lovely GP Dr Kahn. He leaves behind and he is sadly missed by his daughter Linda, his son the late David Meakin, his grandchildren Jayne, Elizabeth, Amy, David, Charlotte, Michael and the late Richard and Jordan, his great-grandchildren David, Jessica, Melissa, Stanley, Miles, Bethany, Isabella and Jackson and his great-great-grandchildren Sawyer and Elainer. A big big thank you to Dave, Rachel, Samantha and in spirit Sue, my dad could not have wished for a better friend and neighbour for over 30 years. My uncle Liam and in spirit dad's sister Byril, Sharon and nieces Joanne, Bridie, Byril and Yvonne and family in Australia. Thank you for your shoulder to cry on. I will never forget. Also thank you to every one of his friends in the court that helped him in any way at all. You will all have memories of Bern and while they're in your hearts and minds, he will never die. Also to Albert and friend who attended the farewell at the cemetery, I'm sorry I didn't chat longer. Finally, a big thank you to Middleton Funeral Directors for the respect and care you gave my dad.
